The focus by tour operators for forthcoming holidays, both overseas and to the UK, is aimed at this coming winter season (Departures November to April) and summer 2021. Depending on Government travel advice and when you wish to travel, 2020 months may have some restrictions. Spain is leading the way as the current destination hotspot for summer 2021 followed closely by Greece and Turkey. However, the early contenders for the first countries to encourage tourists back after recent events are Iceland, Turkey, Spain and Greece. Some countries are rumoured to be offering deals to tempt tourists back to their holiday resorts such as Bulgaria, Cyprus, Mexico and Sicily. More good news regarding insurance cover for Covid-19. Travel insurance firms Staysure, Holiday Extras, Just Travel Cover and Saga have all announced that Covid-19 can be covered within their overseas holiday cover.

Ryanair recently announced their summer 2021 flying programme is on sale whilst advising that they have re-instated 40% of their flights for summer 2020 from 1st July 2020. Guidance for safe flying has also been released by the airline.
