Galway is a beautiful holiday destination that is visited by thousands of travellers each and every year. This little gem is tucked away on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and is the perfect destination for those of us who love a good pint of Guinness, live music and a nice bit of authentic culture and history.

One of the best things to do in Galway is to simply stroll around the city. It's known for its mediaeval streets and colourful buildings, so a wander around the city centre is a must. You'll find plenty of pubs and shops selling traditional Irish goods, as well as a number of cosy bars and pubs to pop into.

When you’re done wandering, a boat trip on the River Corrib is a great thing to do on your Galway trip. You'll get to see the city from a different perspective and you might even spot some dolphins or seals if you're lucky. Another must-see attraction is the Galway Cathedral, which is an impressive building that is well worth a visit. If you're a fan of the great outdoors, then you'll love the Cliffs of Moher. These towering cliffs are located just a short drive from Galway and offer spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean.
